". . . a first wave kAmerican Primitivem who was a pal and peer of John Fahey
and Leo Kottke, he gave up playing professionally in 1991 and hadnmt recorded a
new album since 1978. So it stands to reason that Lang should sound a bit
rusty on his new CD Dharma Blues, but nothing could be further from the
truth. It is a dazzling display of his polyglot blues/folk/improv pickinm
style . . ." Minneapolis Star Tribune, June 16 2001
This Grammy nominated guitarist recorded and performed in the seventies

Fahey, Leo Kottke, George Winston, Robbie Basho, and Bola Sete, Lang helped to
define acoustic musicms new place on the concert stage in the seventies. The
label would become the model for what is now called "New Age" music.
In 1999, Lang left his job as an animation and special effects producer to take
a two year sabbatical to pick up where he left off, writing and recording
music. Dharma Blues marks his first album of new material since 1978 .
